The NHRTC is a non-profit affiliate of Bike/Walk Alliance of NH (BWANH) managed by a volunteer board of eight members.  Our membership has grown substantially this year with now a total of 15 organizational and 67 individual members.

Approximately two-thirds of our individual members joined with our summer promotion of the Second Edition of New Hampshire Rail Trails, written by Rail Trail enthusiast Charles Martin.  Another initiative started this summer is the NH Rail Trails Challenge.  As the name suggests, the challenge is to visit all of New Hampshire’s beautiful rail trails!  There are 40+ trails, encompassing over 300 miles.  If you successfully complete the challenge you get an attractive embroidered patch!  For more information, visit our website page: here.  While there, scroll around and explore other Rail Trail news we have posted.

We are currently busy collecting additional content that will significantly expand our website offerings.  Two new features called “Trail Highlights” and “Resources” will be added.  Once they are incorporated on our portal, you will be notified via email so you can check-out the details and benefits of these enhancements.

Happy Trails,

Chuck Redfern
